About the role#
GlobalFoundries is hiring a Process Engineering Intern for our Fab 9 location in Essex Junction, Vermont. This role focuses on sustaining and managing the fab floor by resolving equipment and process issues. You will lead a specific intern project from start to finish and present your results at an end of year poster session.
What you'll do#
- Establish and manage the equipment quality control plan.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to support throughput, cost reduction, and yield learning.
- Define and maintain equipment installation process qualification or installation roadmaps.
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments to screen and optimize manufacturing processes to meet performance, yield, and reliability targets.
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner while following Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security requirements.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a junior pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science Engineering, or a related field.
- You maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- You are fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- You can work at least 40 hours per week.
