About the role#
This internship focuses on device engineering for the ULP CMOS product line. You will work within the technology development organization to create and optimize silicon transistor technologies for applications like IoT, automotive, and aerospace. Your work involves designing experiments, characterizing devices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet parametric goals and reliability standards.
What you'll do#
- Design device test chip layouts.
- Submit and analyze inline and bench electric tests.
- Automate device analysis to improve standardization and efficiency.
- Follow all safety, health, and security protocols in the workplace.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as at least a sophomore in a Bachelor’s program for Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA and good academic standing.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Understanding of CMOS fabrication, solid state device physics, and submicron FET architectures.
- Prior internship or co-op experience, leadership experience, and project management skills are preferred.
- Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
