About the role#
The Global Manufacturing Electrical and SDV team combines electrical engineering, software, data, and manufacturing expertise to build high-quality vehicles. This internship focuses on supporting electrical first-time quality at our plants. You will work alongside experienced professionals to solve manufacturing problems and contribute to projects that shape future vehicle production.
What you'll do#
- Drive progress in vehicle electrical systems through hands-on projects.
- Write manufacturing software code using C++.
- Build Power BI dashboards to help teams make data-driven decisions.
- Design electrical tooling and equipment solutions for assembly plants.
- Design and document scalable test setups for vehicle electronic components.
- Build relationships across software, manufacturing, and program management teams.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Data Science.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, during the summer months.
- Note: This role does not provide immigration-related sponsorship.
