About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will design reliable and functional electrical systems for heavy-duty vehicles. You will focus on creating documentation that supports manufacturing efficiency while minimizing costs and waste. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Prepare engineering drawings, layouts, and schematics using computer-aided design software.
- Create and manage Bills of Material (BOM).
- Apply dimension and tolerance standards to ensure components fit correctly during assembly.
- Prepare engineering change notices (ECN).
- Consult and coordinate with suppliers to support production needs.
- Support manufacturing and customer service teams with electrical and multiplexing questions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program for Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Ability to work on-site for the full duration of the summer term.
