About the role#
This internship offers a broad perspective on the development of new processes, methods, and technologies within the biotechnology industry. You will work on business-critical projects and collaborate with teams across the Pharmaceutical Technical Development group. This is a full-time, 6-month paid position.
What you'll do#
- Support production methods and technologies for innovative therapeutics.
- Participate in clinical drug substance manufacturing operations.
- Perform process development engineering tasks.
- Develop data tools to support manufacturing purposes.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing or have attained a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- Relevant majors include Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related disciplines.
- You are a detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and self-directed individual.
- You demonstrate a high degree of adaptive capacity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are preferred.

- Location: South San Francisco, California.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Winter 2027 (starting in January).
- Status: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: $28.00 - $41.00 per hour, plus paid holiday time off and a location-based stipend.
