About the role#
This is a part-time, paid co-op position within the Hillsboro Technical Operations (HTO) Manufacturing Academy. You will work on-site in Hillsboro, Oregon, for a 12-month term starting in October 2026. This role focuses on building operational competencies for GMP work and improving training processes for the manufacturing organization.
What you'll do#
- Support the HTO Manufacturing Academy in building operational competencies for GMP compliance.
- Drive business process improvements to boost operational performance and training capabilities.
- Develop and document training materials that align with GMP standards and regulatory requirements.
- Use VR and AR technologies to create innovative training simulations and improve employee readiness.
- Assess the effectiveness of current training programs and update processes to address operational gaps.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in the Portland Community College Bioscience Technology Program (Associate Degree).
- Strong planning and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across various organizational levels.
Location & details#
- Location: Hillsboro, Oregon (On-site).
- Term: Fall 2026 start (October 19, 2026).
- Commitment: Part-time, 10-15 hours per week.
- Compensation: Paid internship with a stipend and paid holiday time off.
