About the role#
The Infrastructure Team builds the foundation that allows the company to operate. We manage a mix of cloud-based and on-prem systems for a user base that includes engineers, scientists, and doctors. You will integrate with teams across the company, working on everything from physical hardware deployment on the manufacturing line to custom tooling for neural recordings.
What you'll do#
- Develop the foundations for teams to build software and systems for BCI experiences.
- Enhance developer experience by improving tooling and build-system infrastructure.
- Build foundational infrastructure for hardware in the loop (HITL) testing across firmware, BCI, and robot teams.
- Work on ground-up infrastructure for on-premise solutions and cloud architecture.
- Focus on foundational software engineering to support internal software teams.
What you'll need#
- Experience with IAC tools like Terraform, Docker, Packer, Ansible, Cloud-Init, or Kickstart.
- Working knowledge of compiled languages such as Rust, Go, or C/C++.
- Knowledge of cryptographic protocols and authentication schemes including TLS, x509, 802.1x, U2F, and SAML.
- Familiarity with the Linux boot process, UEFI, TPM measured boot, Secure Boot, and Systemd.
- Systems administration experience on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Understanding of modern networking and common protocols.
- Ability to architect, build, and ship infrastructure from scratch.
