About the role#
The Internal Apps team builds the centralized data aggregation and analysis platform that powers Neuralink. You will work directly with neuroscientists, chip designers, and engineers to build software that has a tangible impact on our mission. This team functions like an internal startup, where you will have high autonomy and ownership over projects that range from full-stack tools to infrastructure. Expect to work in an environment where the pace is high and the expectations are significant.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engineers and scientists to understand workflows and build the right tools.
- Architect and implement software solutions.
- Develop data platforms to collect, organize, and visualize diverse sets of data.
- Build Lab Systems software to serve as a digital collaboration hub.
- Create ERP software to track and orchestrate brain-computer interface design.
- Develop DevOps and infrastructure tools to increase developer productivity.
What you'll need#
- Demonstrated experience shipping a product that has been actively used.
- Full-stack engineering capability.
- Ability to design and implement simple, elegant software solutions.
- Strong communication and collaborative problem-solving skills.
- An ownership mentality and comfort with ambiguity.
- A fundamental understanding of how software works.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- Work is on-site in Austin, Texas, or South San Francisco, California.
