About the role#
As a Machine Learning Engineer Intern, you will work within the Brain Computer Interface (BCI) Applications Team. You will collaborate with neuroscientists, physicians, and engineers to develop the next generation of human-ready brain-computer interfaces. This position is full-time and based on-site in South San Francisco.
What you'll do#
- Develop novel neural decoders to increase the speed, accuracy, and reliability of BCIs.
- Create machine learning solutions and manage the execution of key projects.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to design new BCI functionalities and computer user interfaces.
What you'll need#
- Evidence of delivering high-impact projects in academia or industry.
- Experience designing and building machine learning models.
- A deep understanding of machine learning concepts.
- Proficiency in analyzing complex datasets and communicating findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong coding skills focused on clean, efficient, and scalable development.
- Experience working with time series or unstructured data.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
