    About the role#

    Northrop Grumman is hiring Intern Systems Engineers for the summer of 2027. You will join the Aeronautics Systems Intern Program to build skills across various engineering specializations. This is a paid, full-time position requiring 40 hours per week for at least 10 weeks.

    What you'll do#

    • Build, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, and systems.
    • Follow engineering drawings along with written or verbal instructions.
    • Operate equipment and conduct tests.
    • Perform alignment checks and make necessary modifications.
    • Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.

    What you'll need#

    • Full-time enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate STEM degree program, with plans to continue enrollment in Fall 2027.
    • Majors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
    • U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
    • Availability to work full-time for the duration of the 10-week summer program.

    • Locations: San Diego, Palmdale, Camarillo, Redondo Beach, and El Segundo, California; Clearfield, Utah; Emerado, North Dakota.
