About the role#
Northrop Grumman is hiring Intern Systems Engineers for the summer of 2027. You will join the Aeronautics Systems Intern Program to build skills across various engineering specializations. This is a paid, full-time position requiring 40 hours per week for at least 10 weeks.
What you'll do#
- Build, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, and systems.
- Follow engineering drawings along with written or verbal instructions.
- Operate equipment and conduct tests.
- Perform alignment checks and make necessary modifications.
- Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate STEM degree program, with plans to continue enrollment in Fall 2027.
- Majors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
- U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
- Availability to work full-time for the duration of the 10-week summer program.
