About the role#
We are looking for a Design Engineering Intern to join the Systems team within our Space and Defense Group. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in East Aurora, New York. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the development of new products and components while supporting our engineering staff.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the development of new products, components, and assemblies.
- Perform conceptual and detail design work, assist with proposals, write technical reports, and help with part selection.
- Provide technical support to engineers as needed.
- Offer input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
- Work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering Bachelor's or Master's degree program at an accredited university.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.
- Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information.
