About the role#
The Elmore Co-op Program offers students the chance to gain practical experience within a manufacturing environment. You will work across departments such as Process Engineering, Quality, and Environmental Health and Safety. This is a full-time, paid position requiring 640 hours of work over the course of the term.
What you'll do#
- Analyze processing defect data and work with teams to improve overall process efficiency.
- Complete independent projects to advance Quality initiatives, including data analysis to identify trends and process capabilities.
- Review and audit technical documents within an Aerospace Quality Management System.
- Identify workplace hazards and solve problems through the design and evaluation of engineering controls.
- Design, collect, and interpret industrial hygiene field measurements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program for Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Aerospace, or Environmental Engineering.
- Minimum sophomore status.
- A GPA of at least 2.7.
- Export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology under ITAR and EAR regulations.
