About the role#
Northrop Grumman is hiring an Industrial Engineering Intern for the Aeronautics Systems sector in Iuka, Mississippi. This is a paid, full-time position for Summer 2027 within the Aerostructures group.
What you'll do#
- Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
- Work directly from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
- Operate equipment and conduct tests while reporting data in a prescribed format.
- Perform calibration and alignment checks, including making adjustments, modifications, and replacements.
- Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another STEM major.
- Graduation date scheduled after August 2027.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week for at least 10 weeks during Summer 2027.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
