    About the role#

    As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern, you will work on the ground floor of rocket production. You will help build the systems and processes that turn designs into flight hardware for the Terran R vehicle. This role involves working directly with hardware and collaborating with engineers and technicians to improve our production capabilities.

    What you'll do#

    • Define and establish efficient product flow for flight hardware through the factory.
    • Identify and solve needs for tooling and work centers.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues and implement process improvements.
    • Generate high quality work instructions, specifications, and best practices.
    • Provide Design for Manufacturing feedback to structures teams during development.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a BS or MS in aerospace, mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering.
    • Hands-on experience gained through labs, projects, internships, or hardware teams.
    • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively across engineering, manufacturing, and production teams.
    • A self-motivated approach to solving problems.
