About the role#
This is a full-time internship for Summer 2026. You will join the Pricing Team to help determine rate levels for insurance products and analyze loss trends. This role involves more than data entry, as you will contribute to business strategies and communicate findings across departments to support company goals.
What you'll do#
- Prepare statistical analyses of underwriting or claims experience.
- Conduct rate reviews and create filings for various business segments.
- Build a deep understanding of Auto Pricing at GEICO.
- Develop and present analysis and proposals to stakeholder groups.
- Recommend future product decisions to drive financial and strategic performance.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field. Candidates with a degree in any field plus prior quantitative internship experience are also eligible. You must be on track to obtain your degree by June 2027.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel.
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

- This position is based in Bethesda, Maryland, or Beachwood, Ohio.
- You must live within a commutable distance of your assigned office.
- This is a hybrid role requiring at least three days of in-office work per week.
- This internship is paid.
