About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to work with senior engineers on software components for surgery imaging products. You will join cross-functional teams to contribute to the design and development of complex imaging systems throughout the product life cycle. This is a full-time, paid position for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design and implementation of automated test frameworks to identify regressions.
- Triage software defects and implement solutions with guidance from senior staff.
- Perform verification and validation of software designs and requirements.
- Conduct reliability analysis of system components.
- Participate in peer code reviews.
- Prepare technical documentation for software designs and requirements.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or an equivalent major.
- Completion of at least your sophomore year.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
