About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Plymouth, Minnesota. You will join the Image Guided Therapy Devices Software R&D group to work on the IVUS Clinical Imaging Application. This role requires working on-site at our Plymouth facility.
What you'll do#
- Work with experienced engineers on design, code analysis, implementation, and automated testing.
- Define the scope of your work for the summer in partnership with a team member.
- Learn the existing software development infrastructure for the IVUS application.
- Apply your programming skills to plan, execute, and test assigned tasks.
- Participate as a member of the scrum team, including attending agile and SAFe ceremonies.
- Complete all training required to meet regulatory and quality management standards.
- Summarize your project work in a final presentation at the end of the summer.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with programming languages such as C++, Java, C#, or Python.
- Basic knowledge of agile development and source control tools like GitHub.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication, technical writing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Plymouth, MN.

- Compensation: $33.00 to $36.00 per hour, plus overtime eligibility.
