About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern at Premier Inc., you will work with a team of engineers to build software products for hospitals and healthcare sites. These products help providers improve clinical outcomes and reduce waste. This role focuses on front-end UI development and requires you to learn new technologies while working on existing and new products.
What you'll do#
- Write code for new products and maintain existing ones.
- Analyze and address requirements in product design.
- Create and execute unit test cases, including both automated and manual tests.
- Collaborate with the software engineering team on a daily basis.
- Learn new technologies to support product development.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Familiarity with web-based service architecture and application development.
- Experience with front-end UI development using JavaScript and React.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
- Relevant software development coursework.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and electronically.
- Capacity to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines.

- Compensation: $52,000 to $78,000 per year.
