About the role#
As a Quality Intern, you will assist the quality technicians with daily operations to ensure production quality. You will support inspection activities, manage non-conformities, handle equipment calibration, and update quality documentation. This is a full-time position for the Winter 2027 term based in Saint-Eustache. You will split your time between an office and the production floor.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the inspection of incoming raw materials, consumables, and other products.
- Verify products against internal and client specifications.
- Document non-conforming products and help prepare non-conformity reports.
- Follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Plan and track periodic calibrations of measuring instruments.
- Support the calibration and verification of production and laboratory equipment.
- Update quality documentation such as procedures, forms, and templates.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in quality, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, metrology, or a related field.
- Fluency in French, both written and spoken.
- Basic to intermediate English skills for reading technical documents and simple communications.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and rigor.
- Ability to work well in a team and develop autonomy.
- Capability to stand for inspections and lift up to 22 kg occasionally.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical plan reading and measuring instruments is an asset.
- Familiarity with quality principles is an asset.
