About the role#
We are looking for a Data Science Co-op to join our SaaS team. This role helps you strengthen your technical skills and business acumen while working on projects that influence product and customer outcomes. You will partner with teams across data science, software engineering, product, and business functions to solve problems using data. This co-op provides practical experience, mentorship, and exposure to how data science supports growth in a SaaS environment.
What you'll do#
- Analyze product and business data to identify patterns, trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Build and improve dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
- Support the development of data models and machine learning solutions.
- Work with large datasets from product usage, customer interactions, sales, and support systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and operations.
- Assist with data cleaning, feature engineering, validation, and exploratory analysis.
- Communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to experimentation and measurement frameworks, including A/B testing and KPI tracking.
- Document methods, assumptions, and results.
- Participate in team learning, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree program or a credentialed technical training program.
- Majors accepted include Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Informatics, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, or other relevant STEM fields.
- Experience with data analysis, statistics, programming, or software projects through coursework, internships, research, or personal projects.
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (sponsorship is not provided).
- Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.

- Reliable transportation is required as many sites lack public transit access.
- Pay begins at $24/hour and increases based on undergraduate year completed.
