About the role#
As a Welding Engineering Intern for Summer 2027, you will gain exposure to the aircraft engine and aviation systems business. This rotational program places you in different areas and at different GE Aerospace sites to provide a diverse range of work experiences. You will contribute to the development of flight technology while focusing on safety.

What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time, accredited baccalaureate or graduate engineering program.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, without rounding.
- Ability to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation, as many sites are not accessible by public transit.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Status as a U.S. Person, as this role requires access to export-controlled information.
- Preferred majors include Welding Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, and other related fields.

- Compensation: Paid position starting at $20 per hour, with increases based on completed undergraduate years.
