About the role#
As a Digital Technology Intern at GE Aerospace, you will work on projects that support our technical and business needs. You will gain exposure to IT and software leadership while building your professional skills through mentoring and team collaboration. This position offers a chance to explore various business areas, including digital platforms, full stack development, cyber security, data analytics, and ERP systems. Assignments are based on business needs, your preferences, and interviewer assessments.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the development, maintenance, and enhancement of internal systems, applications, and reports.
- Help with daily team activities, including basic analysis and problem solving.
- Participate in meetings and collaborate with team members to build technical skills.
- Engage in professional development and networking opportunities throughout the summer.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree program at an accredited university or a credentialed software accelerator.
- A degree focus in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT Security, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field with relevant experience.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States, as we do not provide visa sponsorship.
- Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen.
- Reliable transportation, as public transit is not available at our site.
