About the role#
As a Digital Technology Co-op at GE Aerospace, you will work on technical projects while learning from industry leaders. You will build relationships with peers and mentors through events and professional development. Your specific assignments depend on business needs and your personal preferences, covering areas such as full stack development, cybersecurity, data analytics, and ERP systems. This role provides exposure to IT and software leadership and may serve as a pathway to the Digital Technology Leadership Program.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the development, maintenance, and enhancement of digital tools, internal systems, and reports.
- Contribute to daily team operations by helping with assigned tasks, basic analysis, and problem solving.
- Collaborate with team members, participate in meetings, and build skills in relevant technologies and processes.
- Gain exposure to key IT and software business leaders.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Associate, Bachelor, or Master degree program.
- A degree focused on Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant STEM field.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
- Reliable transportation to the work site.
- Ability to meet U.S. export control requirements.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position for the Summer 2027 term.
- The role is based on-site in Evendale, Ohio, or Livonia, Michigan.
- Pay rates start at $20 per hour and increase based on completed undergraduate years.
- Relocation support and housing assistance are available for those who relocate to a new city.
