About the role#
As a Digital Technology Intern at GE Aerospace, you will work on projects that support our aviation and aerospace manufacturing operations. This internship provides exposure to IT and software leadership. You will build professional relationships through team collaboration and intern events. Assignments vary based on business needs and may include areas such as digital platforms, full stack development, cyber security, data analytics, or ERP systems.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the development, maintenance, and enhancement of applications, reports, and internal systems.
- Contribute to daily team activities by helping with assigned tasks, basic analysis, and problem solving.
- Collaborate with team members, participate in meetings, and build skills in relevant technologies and processes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree program at an accredited university or a credentialed software accelerator.
- A degree focus in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, IT Security, Informatics, Information Science/Technology, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, Security and Risk Analysis, or a related STEM field with software or IT experience.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Reliable transportation, as public transit is not available at this site.
- Willingness to work on-site in Livonia, Michigan.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. We do not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
- Ability to meet the status of a U.S. Person, as this role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
