About the role#
StandardAero is hiring a curious and technology-minded HR AI & Process Innovation Intern. You will explore how artificial intelligence can improve HR operations, employee experiences, and team workflows. This role involves researching, testing, and documenting practical AI applications while partnering with IT, Legal, and Privacy teams to ensure data security and responsible use.
What you'll do#
- Review current HR processes to find opportunities for AI to improve efficiency, quality, and consistency.
- Research emerging AI capabilities for areas like recruiting, payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee support.
- Develop and test AI-enabled solutions for drafting communications, policies, job descriptions, and employee materials.
- Automate repetitive tasks and improve self-service tools for employees and managers.
- Map current processes against potential future-state workflows.
- Build and test prompts, templates, and tools for the HR team to use.
- Analyze HR data to identify trends and insights.
- Document pilot results, lessons learned, and recommended next steps.
- Educate the HR team on practical ways to use AI in their daily work.
What you'll need#
- Authorization to work in the US.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools like ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, or Claude.
- Understanding of the secure and responsible use of AI, especially regarding confidential information.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both HR and technology teams.
- Attention to detail when evaluating new technologies.
- Interest in how technology improves the employee and manager experience.
- Exposure to data analysis, automation, or HR systems is helpful.

- This is an on-site, part-time, paid internship.
