About the role#
As a Commercial Analyst Intern, you will apply concepts from finance, statistics, economics, and operations management to support improvements in profitability and revenue generation. You will work alongside the pricing team to identify cost optimization opportunities and support business decisions within the aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pricing team with customer estimates, invoices, and pricing for aircraft engine maintenance services.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Operations, and Engineering groups to research new service offerings and support pricing recommendations.
- Handle data entry and validate information from various sources to support commercial activities.
- Contribute to financial analysis and business case development to evaluate and present solutions to customers.
- Build dashboards, reports, and data analyses using Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
- Prepare reports to assess the quality of earnings and identify ways to improve billing processes.
- Create presentations and materials to share analytical findings and recommendations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited bachelor's degree program for Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Junior or senior academic standing during the internship.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, or report data.
- Ability to communicate analytical findings and business information clearly in writing and verbally.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with Power BI for dashboards or visualizations is preferred.
- Relevant coursework in finance, accounting, statistics, economics, or operations management.
- Background in working with financial data, pricing, invoicing, or business analysis.
- Experience summarizing data or preparing presentations for business audiences.

- This role is based on-site at the San Antonio, Texas facility.
- The position is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
