About the role#
Freestone Capital Management is seeking a Wealth Management Intern for our Client Advisory Team in San Francisco. This program runs from mid-June to August 2027 for a minimum of nine weeks. You will gain hands-on experience in wealth management through workshops, projects, and daily assignments. Interns work on a cross-functional project to present investment and planning recommendations to advisors based on real-world client scenarios.
What you'll do#
- Provide operational and administrative support to Client Advisor Teams.
- Organize, track, and assist with team projects.
- Prepare forms such as account applications, beneficiary updates, and money movements.
- Assist in the preparation of marketing materials and proposals for prospective client meetings.
- Manage client data and information within our CRM and reporting systems.
- Take on additional ad hoc responsibilities as capacity allows.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a rising senior pursuing a degree in Finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on operational processes.
- Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Capability to manage projects independently and take on responsibility.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and client service skills.

- Compensation: $28 per hour, plus a lunch stipend Monday through Thursday.
