About the role#
Cerity Partners is hiring interns for the Summer 2027 Financial Planning team. You will work within our Central Solutions group alongside the Chief Planning Officer. This role provides hands-on exposure to wealth management, client relationship strategies, and the tools advisors use to reach client goals. This is a full-time, paid internship requiring 40 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Support the Chief Planning Officer and the Central Solutions Strategy team with daily operations and special projects.
- Assist in evaluating and adopting new technology for financial, cash flow, and estate planning.
- Partner with Practice Development Officers to create resources that improve client outcomes.
- Contribute to firmwide strategy initiatives, including KPI reporting, client segmentation, and competitive benchmarking.
- Prepare planning materials, cash flow analyses, and presentations for advisor and client meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program, preferably in Finance or Business Administration.
- Strong academic record and a genuine interest in wealth management.
- Analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel for financial modeling and cash flow analysis.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- High standards for professional integrity and confidentiality.
- Experience with financial planning software or AI-enabled tools is a plus.

- This internship is based on-site in New York City, New York, or West Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.
- The term is Summer 2027.
- This is a full-time, paid position.
