About the role#
Freestone Capital Management is hiring an Operations Intern for the summer of 2027. This role sits within our Operations department, where you will support the broader business through technology, data analytics, and financial reporting projects. You will work directly under the guidance of Operations leadership in our Seattle office.
What you'll do#
- Review current firm workflows to find ways to improve efficiency.
- Maintain our CRM, electronic files, and reporting systems.
- Analyze internal data to identify key trends and takeaways.
- Learn to use and support our financial reporting tool, Tamarac Reporting.
- Assist the Operations team with various projects as they arise.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising senior pursuing a degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Informatics, Economics, or a related field.
- You have a strong academic record and an interest in working with large data sets.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Power BI or SQL is preferred.
- You are a self-starter who can manage projects independently.
- You possess strong quantitative, analytical, and communication skills.
- You can handle pressure, meet deadlines, and review large amounts of information to develop solutions.
- You are curious, team-oriented, and willing to take on new challenges.
Location & details#
- Location: Seattle, Washington (On-site).
- Term: Summer 2027 (mid-June to August, minimum 9 weeks).
- Status: Full-time, paid internship at $28 per hour.
