About the role#
This summer internship provides experience across the Freestone investment platform. You will work on projects involving fixed income, equities, hedge funds, real estate, and private equity. You will report to portfolio managers and participate in training and networking throughout the summer. The program runs from mid-June to August 2027 for a minimum of 9 weeks. High-performing interns may be asked to extend their term or receive an offer for a full-time analyst position.
What you'll do#
- Perform investment analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and industry research.
- Support portfolio managers by analyzing existing holdings and preparing recommendations for clients or the investment committee.
- Maintain the company CRM, electronic files, and various operating or investment reports.
- Assist with miscellaneous tasks to support the overall investment process.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising senior pursuing a degree in Finance or Investments.
- You have a demonstrated interest in a finance career and a well-rounded academic background.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
- You possess strong quantitative, analytical, and communication skills.
- You can manage projects independently, meet tight deadlines, and handle a high level of responsibility.
- You are a self-starter who pays close attention to detail and works well within a team.

- Compensation: $28 per hour.
- This is a full-time, paid position. Relocation and housing assistance are not provided. We do not offer sponsorship for this role.
