About the role#
QCR Holdings, Inc. is hiring a Wealth Management Intern for a full-time, paid position in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This role offers exposure to the day-to-day operations of our Trust Department. You will gain practical experience in financial planning, relationship management, and trust administration while learning how we serve our clients. The internship term is rolling.
What you'll do#
- Support trust and investment officers with trust administration and compliance tasks.
- Assist with investment research and portfolio construction projects.
- Learn the fundamentals of estate planning and estate settlement.
- Participate in discussions regarding economic trends, stock and bond markets, and tax implications for investments.
- Work alongside other interns to complete a collaborative group project.
What you'll need#
- Completed coursework in finance, economics, or accounting.
- Proficiency in computer applications, specifically Excel or Access.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A self-motivated approach to your work.
