About the role#
QCR Holdings, Inc. is hiring a Marketing Intern to work with the team at Cedar Rapids Bank & Trust. You will work directly with the Vice President of Marketing and other bank staff to support our marketing efforts. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. You may occasionally need to work after-hour events.
What you'll do#
- Help plan and execute marketing campaigns.
- Write copy for social media, promotional emails, and other materials.
- Create written, video, and image content for our marketing channels.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and collaborate with other interns on a group project.
- Assist with the planning and execution of internal and external bank events.
- Measure and report the results of marketing initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- You are a self-starter who works well independently.
- Ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.
- High attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Facebook and LinkedIn.
- A strong desire to learn and professional drive.
- A passion for marketing best practices.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) is preferred.
