About the role#
The FMC Legal Department is seeking motivated interns for the 2027 summer cohort. This program provides hands-on experience in the corporate legal function, helping you build skills in law, compliance, and corporate governance. You will work on projects designed to develop your analytical skills and business acumen while connecting with peers across the organization.
What you'll do#
- Draft, review, and manage contracts and legal documents to ensure they meet company policies.
- Gather and analyze legal information to support business transactions and strategic initiatives.
- Maintain and organize regulatory documents and legal records.
- Assist with compliance activities, legal research, and audits.
- Attend legal and business meetings to document key takeaways and support team communication.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or graduate degree program, having completed at least your first year of undergraduate studies.
- Academic background in fields such as Political Science, History, Business Administration, Economics, or Criminal Justice.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic law principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word.
- Ability to handle administrative tasks with high proficiency and autonomy.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
