About the role#
Fischer Homes is seeking an IT Infrastructure Co-op or Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This full-time position is based on-site in Erlanger, Kentucky. You will work directly with our Network Administration team to gain hands-on experience while supporting our internal technology operations.
What you'll do#
- Support internal users with key technology needs.
- Monitor systems and networks to ensure they run and operate appropriately.
- Troubleshoot errors as they arise.
- Assist with server patches and system updates.
- Maintain high attention to detail in all technical tasks.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related information technology field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a busy environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Recent infrastructure support experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry approximately 20-25 lbs unassisted.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions, such as typing, and sit for long periods.
