About the role#
This Quality Intern position is based at our First Quality Print and Packaging facility in Anderson, South Carolina. You will work within our laboratory and manufacturing environment to ensure our products meet quality, safety, and customer standards. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Perform trial testing and RD testing for Lamination and Extrusion.
- Manage ColorCert and serve as an Experience Process Auditor.
- Review daily production records and product test results for accuracy.
- Maintain QC records and prepare Certificates of Analysis for customers.
- Ensure lab equipment remains in good working order and follows calibration schedules.
- Assist in setting standards for QC procedures.
- Maintain the quality database to support operational needs.
- Recommend improvements to the current quality system.
What you'll need#
- Full color vision is a requirement for this role.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including 12-hour shifts on both days and nights.
- Ability to walk or stand for your entire shift.
- Capacity to lift or carry boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Comfort with frequent pushing, pulling, and constant use of hands.
