About the role#
First Quality is seeking students for a full-time, paid Project Engineering Internship in Lewistown, Pennsylvania. This role focuses on providing hands-on experience with major capital projects aimed at improving manufacturing efficiency and quality. You will work on real projects and contribute to the expansion of our operations.
What you'll do#
- Prepare project timelines, schedules, and coordinate across multiple disciplines.
- Manage equipment and line proposals, including installations, startups, and validations.
- Analyze trend data and troubleshoot process issues.
- Identify improvements for machines, materials, or processes and implement solutions.
- Train operating personnel and write technical procedures or manuals.
- Follow all safety rules, GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations.
- Perform additional duties as directed.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree or current progress toward a degree in a related field.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- 0 to 3 years of experience, including academic projects.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Motivation and a focus on teamwork.
- Ability to walk or stand for the duration of a 12-hour shift and lift or maneuver materials as required.
