About the role#
As a Flexographic Press Intern, you will work under the direction of the Press Manager to support our manufacturing operations. You will focus on creating and updating training materials, collecting production data, and assisting the Pre-Press department. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term based on-site in Anderson, South Carolina.
What you'll do#
- Create and update operational training materials and media using Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Assist the Pre-Press department with daily tasks and processes.
- Inspect printing plates for errors and damage, logging your findings.
- Collaborate with the Process Engineer to collect and evaluate press trends.
- Update Fusion specs and provide managers with growth data for team meetings.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety rules, GMP, SQF, and OSHA policies.
- Keep your work area organized by following 5s housekeeping standards, including daily sweeping.
- Maintain clear records of all assigned projects.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a print or packaging related degree program.
- Proficiency with a PC and the ability to maintain accurate logs.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively.
- Full color vision.
- Ability to work in a tobacco-free facility and campus.
- Physical ability to stand or walk for the duration of an 8-hour shift, including frequent lifting of up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
