    About the role#

    The Supervision Group at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York oversees and regulates financial institutions within the Second District. This ten-week summer program offers graduate students the chance to contribute to the bank's mission of promoting a safe and stable financial system. Interns work within a specific business function, including areas like risk exams, supervisory analysis, or consumer compliance, while collaborating with peers and experienced professionals across the organization.

    What you'll do#

    • Perform critical financial analysis to support supervisory objectives.
    • Conduct research and produce written reports on emerging risks and policy developments.
    • Prepare formal presentations for internal stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with other interns and full-time staff on project-based assignments.
    • Participate in professional development activities and learning events with senior leadership.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a graduate program with a strong academic record.
    • Demonstrated and applicable full-time work experience.
    • Interest in economics, public policy, or finance.
    • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
