Project Management /Engineering Construction Co-Op

About the role#

The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia is seeking undergraduate students for a full-time, paid Project Management and Engineering Construction Co-Op within the Facilities Department. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience managing and maintaining bank operations through project-oriented assignments.

What you'll do#

• Assist with office renovations, AC unit and VAV replacements, and equipment installations or upgrades, including AHU’s, chillers, cooling towers, and pumps.
• Support Building Automation System (BMS/BAS) integration.
• Evaluate mechanical and electrical distribution systems.
• Take accurate notes at project meetings.
• Work with limited supervision to conduct research and develop alternative solutions.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as an undergraduate student majoring in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management.
• Intermediate related work or volunteer experience; a second-year Co-Op is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit 3D modeling.
• Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to demonstrate initiative.
• Ability to work as a logical thinker and problem solver.
• Physical ability to walk in mechanical spaces, climb 10ft fixed ladders, stand for long periods, and lift up to 30 lbs.
