    About the role#

    The Risk Group internship is a ten-week summer program for undergraduate sophomores. Interns work within a specific business function to support the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. You will participate in a cohort-based model, receive mentorship from an experienced professional, and engage in project-based assignments. This role is full-time and on-site in New York.

    What you'll do#

    • Collect and analyze data to measure, monitor, and evaluate risk management practices.
    • Collaborate with professionals to analyze controls, dependencies, and process handoffs.
    • Generate reports, inventories, plans, and assessments using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Tableau.
    • Update program status reports and communications across the organization.
    • Support business analysis and program management activities related to risk.

    What you'll need#

    • Current undergraduate sophomore status.
    • Expected graduation between Winter 2028 and Spring 2029.
    • Strong analytical thinking and communication abilities.
    • Technical aptitude with data solutions and professional presentations.
    • Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
