About the role#
The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond is hiring for the Summer 2027 Technical Internship. This program offers students experience at a central banking institution through project work and professional development. Interns gain an understanding of the Federal Reserve while building skills in financial analysis, research, and technical project execution.
What you'll do#
- Perform moderately complex analyses of business issues using established tools.
- Work with clients to assess current capabilities and identify customer needs.
- Gather and compile information from end-users and stakeholders to ensure applications meet business requirements.
- Contribute to process improvement and solution discussions, including presenting outcomes to management.
- Participate in cross-functional team initiatives and technology-based projects.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree or advanced certification in a STEM field, specifically Computer Science, Mathematics, or Computer Engineering.
- Strong project management skills, including organization, planning, and execution.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- US Citizenship is required for this position.
