    About the role#

    The Business Support internship at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco offers students a chance to contribute to the Bank's core business functions. You will work within teams such as Digital Management, External Communications, People + Culture, and Workplace Experience. This is a 10.5-week paid program designed to build your professional foundation through hands-on projects and mentorship.

    What you'll do#

    • Apply creativity and communication skills to projects that improve the productivity of business functions.
    • Participate in various business activities to gain experience and exposure to the Bank's operations.
    • Collaborate directly with managers and team members on meaningful work assignments.

    What you'll need#

    • You are a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited community college, four-year college, or university.
    • Your expected graduation date falls between December 2027 and June 2029.
    • You are a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
    • You show demonstrated leadership ability and a keen interest in public service.
    • You can commit to working 40 hours per week for the full 10.5-week duration.

    Location & details#

    • This role is based in San Francisco, California.
    • You must be able to work on-site 5 days per week.
    • The internship takes place during the summer of 2027, with start dates available on May 26 or June 9.
    • Compensation is $21.00 to $36.00 per hour, depending on experience and position.
