About the role#
EXP is hiring a Civil Intern for our Wisconsin operations based in Appleton. You will work under the supervision of junior and senior engineers, focusing primarily on transportation construction projects. This position is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Assist with on-site inspections and field assignments.
- Use CAD programs to prepare plan drawings and details.
- Help prepare technical specifications and reports.
- Perform material quantity take-offs.
- Organize design calculations.
- Support project teams in meeting deadlines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college civil engineering program.
- Experience with computer aided drafting and Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to work outdoors for field assignments.
- Ability to work with minimal direction.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
