About the role#
As an intern in bridge and structural design at EXP, you will join our design team to work on engineering mandates for major structures. You will participate in the delivery of projects while gaining hands-on experience in the field.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the design of simple structural elements.
- Help develop design tools.
- Assist in preparing feasibility studies and preliminary project reports.
- Work on maintenance plans for large-scale structures.
- Prepare tender documents, including plans, specifications, cost estimates, and quantity calculations.
- Support inspection tasks, special transport mandates, and surveillance work as opportunities arise.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in civil engineering.
- An AEC or DEC in civil engineering is considered an asset.
- A responsible, autonomous, and rigorous approach to work.
- A desire to learn and a preference for working in a team environment.
