Corporate Wellness Internship - Fall 2026

About the role#

Exos is offering a 12-16 week internship program designed to provide hands-on experience in a corporate wellness environment. Interns will work on-site in Plano, TX, with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week. This program focuses on professional development through coaching, shadowing, and exposure to the Exos Methodology, including weekly educational sessions and practical training in movement skills and program design. Interns may also have the opportunity to earn the Exos Fitness Specialist Certification (XFS).

What you'll do#

• Conduct fitness tests and evaluations for clients.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of health promotion and incentive programs.
• Provide safe and effective exercise programs and group exercise sessions.
• Shadow and observe performance professionals in service delivery.
• Gain exposure to high-risk member management, injury prevention, and on-site rehabilitation.
• Complete self-paced learning modules and participate in practicums.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in exercise science, kinesiology, physical education, or a related field.
• Must be in a program that provides course credit for the internship, as this position is unpaid.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
• A passion for working with active and athletic populations.
