About the role#
Exos is offering a 12-16 week internship program at our Performance Center in Phoenix. This role is designed to expose you to our methodology and how we integrate nutrition into athlete training. You will learn to evaluate athlete needs based on their goals and activity levels while gaining a holistic understanding of athlete care. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position requiring a minimum of 20 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Shadow and support Performance Nutrition Specialists during individual evaluations.
- Help create daily nutrition plans, including pre-workout, during-workout, and post-workout prescriptions.
- Implement individualized recovery strategies and hydration protocols for athletes.
- Assist with food service management, education presentations, and operational tasks.
- Participate in weekly small group or individual sessions and complete self-paced learning modules.
What you'll need#
- You must be fulfilling a curriculum or graduation requirement in Nutrition or Dietetics.
- Ideally, you are a 4th-year nutrition student.
- A strong desire to work with active or athletic populations.
- Prior experience in sports nutrition is preferred.

- Note: Interns are responsible for securing and funding their own housing, travel, food, and transportation. You must confirm course credit with your school advisor.
