About the role#
Join the team in Ottawa to work on hardware development projects. This internship provides hands-on experience with circuit design, testing, and product development. You will work alongside experienced team members to deliver reliable hardware solutions that meet business requirements.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to hardware design and testing tasks.
- Support troubleshooting and documentation efforts.
- Use design, schematic, layout, and simulation tools.

What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in an accredited undergraduate, master’s, or PhD program in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- A GPA of 2.7 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Basic knowledge of circuit design and familiarity with schematic and layout tools.
- Ability to perform measurements, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively in a team.
- Eagerness to learn and solve hardware design problems.
- You must upload an unofficial copy of your transcript with your application.
Location & details#
- Location: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (starting January 11, 2027).
- Duration: 8 to 16 months.
- Work Modality: On-site, 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: $25.50 to $34.50 CAD per hour for Bachelor's level students.
- Note: This position does not offer immigration sponsorship.
