About the role#
The PDU Enterprise Communication unit is part of the broader BA Digital Services organization. This team focuses on demonstrating technology leadership in communication services. You will work on end-to-end projects including system design, testing, deployment, and support. The team develops demonstrations and proof of concepts related to 5G monetization, new networking technologies, and distributed cloud.
What you'll do#
- Develop software within a team focused on innovation.
- Build and deploy proofs of concept and demos rapidly.
- Innovate across the field of new communication services.
- Establish efficient workflows, methods, and tools for the team.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- A minimum GPA of 2.7 or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Java, Node.js, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Linux, virtualization, and containerization.
- Understanding of mobile and app development and complex multi-node system design.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with fluency in English.
- A collaborative mindset, curiosity about technology, and a willingness to share knowledge.
- Knowledge of IMS and VoLTE is an advantage, as is proficiency in French.

- Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (starting January 11, 2027).
- Duration: 4 months.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment: Full-time internship.
