About the role#
Ericsson is hiring for a Radio SW Co-op position in Ottawa. This is a full-time, paid opportunity for the Winter 2027 term. We are looking for students who can commit to a 12 to 16 month duration starting January 11, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Develop production software and automated test cases to maintain legacy functionality.
- Build tools for development and troubleshooting using ML/AI capabilities.
- Perform software and hardware integration testing in the lab.
- Troubleshoot issues found during testing and contribute to their resolution.
- Conduct hands-on nodal verification of new functionality.
- Review software designs and test plans while reporting on test results.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a B.Sc. or M.Sc. program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 2 years of your program completed with a minimum 2.7 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- Experience with software development and debugging.
- Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication in English.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
