About the role#
Ericsson is hiring an Agentic AI Developer for a co-op position based in Montreal. In this role, you will work on AI systems capable of reasoning, planning, and executing automated workflows for telecommunications applications. You will collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and architects to build and deploy applications that support the future of connected technology.
What you'll do#
- Develop and integrate AI agents for telecom applications.
- Build backend APIs and web frontends to make AI agent workflows accessible to users.
- Prototype solutions using Copilot Studio, including agents, connectors, and knowledge sources.
- Analyze telecom network data to gain insights, troubleshoot issues, and automate processes.
- Explore cloud-based AI platforms such as AWS Bedrock and Azure AI Foundry.
- Containerize and deploy services using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native practices.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code reviews within an Agile team.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Full-stack development experience gained through projects, coursework, or previous internships.
- A GPA of 2.7 or higher.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
- Understanding of APIs, web applications, databases, and version control.
- Interest in large language models, cloud development, and telecom data analytics.
- Experience with tools like FastAPI, Node.js, React, LangChain, LangGraph, Docker, or Kubernetes is an asset.
Location & details#
- Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (Starting January 1, 2027).
- Duration: 12 to 16 months for co-ops; 8 months or more for interns.
- Work Modality: On-site, 40 hours per week.
